Welcome to the space of Xiao Fang (方啸). I am a BCCP Fellow at Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics (BCCP), Department of Physics, UC Berkeley. Before this, I was a postdoc researcher at Department of Astronomy and Steward Observatory at University of Arizona. I finished my Ph.D. in Physics at the Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP) of The Ohio State University in the summer of 2018. My PhD advisor is Prof. Christopher Hirata.
I work on a broad range of topics, from observational cosmology to compact objects and stellar dynamics. I am a Full Member of the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope - Dark Energy Science Collaboration (LSST-DESC), and a member of the Dark Energy Survey (DES), the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI), and the Roman Space Telescope High Latitude Survey (HLS) Science Investigation Team.
